Each hybrid in PING's G440 range has been designed to fit a specific need, with the 2-hybrid offering penetrating ball flights and the more lofted options providing a draw bias and higher launch. The G440 hybrid also makes use of a lightweight 8-position hosel that you can manipulate to find your ideal loft for your upcoming shot.

- By redesigning the face profile, PING offers the player a shallower face that helps them to get higher launch, while a thinner face and optimised face profile increases ball speed and control over off-center strikes
- Through removing 4g from the hosel, screw, and heel section of all hybrid lofts, mass savings lower the CG to increase launch and stopping power without compromising ball speeds
- Slimming down the back-weight profile ensures that the club sits more flush to the ground and the face angle remains consistent, no matter the loft or lie setting, allowing golfers to benefit from the multiple loft and lie angles provided by the adjustable hosel
- The CarbonFly Wrap crown saves weight, which is re-allocated to help lower the CG, ensuring forgiveness and contributing to a more muted, pleasing sound at impact
- The lightweight 8-position hosel enables adjustments for loft 1.5° either way
- Each hybrid is designed to fit golfers with various skill levels:
- The 2 hybrid (17°) is slightly fade-biased with a lower, more penetrating flight for off-the-tee performance
- Loft has been increased by 1° in the 3 (20°) and 4 (23°), hybrids for higher launch with a neutral flight and more stopping power
- The 5 (26°), 6 (30°) and 7 (34°) hybrids provide a slight draw bias and higher launch to help them fly straighter and gap well into an iron set
